Heads Up... Gen Con is Only One Week Away!

Sup, HotBox homes? We hope you’re ready for one of the biggest events of the year. Gen Con is the largest tabletop game convention in North America and we’re gonna be there serving delicious ‘za every day. Catch us at the Gen Con Block Party on Georgia Street in the HotBox tent. Grab a slice, pie, or whiff of cheese, pep, or even better, our limited edition Gen Con pie – the L.A.R.P. (Live Action Ranch Pickle)!

The best thing about this pie is that it was created by our BYOP (Build Your Own Pie) contest winner, Carrie H, who lives in Temperance, Michigan. Here’s what Carrie had to say about her legendary creation:

“My pie was inspired by a pizza I tried from a local food truck here in Michigan. It had pickles on it and immediately reminded me of the fried pickles you get at the fair, which of course always come dipped in ranch. So of course, it only made sense that the pie have ranch sauce. And well, bacon, need I say more? Everything’s better with bacon! The tart pickles, savory bacon and creamy ranch are a trifecta of textures and flavor, especially when topped off with some red pepper flakes for just a bit of heat. Is it a sandwich or a pizza? Lol!”
