A Message to our Fans

Dear HotBox Fan,

The Coronavirus is having an impact on all of our lives. Here in Indiana, March is the time of year that we celebrate our love of basketball, join in St. Patty’s Day festivities (because we are all Irish on March 17th), and plan Spring Break trips. This year is different though. Events are on hold, our lives are being lived in limbo, and there is a lot of uncertainty. I want to let you know what we are doing at HotBox Pizza in order to protect our crew and our customers.

While we do not have any employee showing symptoms, we are mandating that if an employee were to show flu-like symptoms, they would be excluded from store operations until they are symptom free. Because we recognize that this can be a financial burden to our employees, we are offering paid time off to infected hourly workers. We are also replacing in-person meetings with web conferences and offering work from home opportunities for all administrative employees.

We have increased hand-washing requirements, glove use, and cleaning and sanitizing procedures in all of our stores.  Additionally, we have implemented “No Contact Delivery” for customers who are practicing social distancing.

We are a small, Indiana company.  We are your friends, we are your neighbors, and we want to make sure that we are serving you in the best manner possible. If you should have any questions or concerns, I would love to hear from you. I can be reached at [email protected].

We will get through this. Life will get back to normal. Please take care of yourself and let’s take care of each other.

Thank you for being a HotBox fan!

Best regards,

Gabe Connell
