Monday 1/20/20 is MLK Day. Most schools are out of session that day. IPS schools are also out on the 21st. Run an hourly for last MLK Day so you prepare accordingly.
Monday 1/20/20 is also National Cheese Lovers Day. We will be sending the normal POTW and ALSO a text to customers that day.
New HBHQ Crew Member
Robby Weiss has joined the team at HBHQ as our Creative Marketing Specialist. Robby will be taking over the graphic design duties! His first day will be 1/21, if you would like to introduce yourself, his email is [email protected].

The Loner
First round of Loner mailers go out this week for Downtown, Broad Ripple, and West Lafayette. The remaining stores will begin on the 29th.
Friends with Benefits
We are still on track to soft launch our benefits program next week. Patrick and Jen will be sending out more detailed info later this week. The plan is to announce to our BoxStars on the 29th.
Customer Service-What would you do?
Situation: Customer orders 2 extra large 2-topping pies online. In the notes, the customer indicates they have a postcard for a free pizza, what would you do?
Best Answer: There are actually three options here.
1. Contact the customer, let them know it's good for a large 1-topping, and ask the customer if they would like to add one to their order.
2. Contact the customer and offer to take the value of the large 1-topping off of their total.
3. Contact the customer and just offer to take the full menu price off of one of the pizzas they ordered.Remember: a customer has one of these cards for a reason, let's leave them with a great impression!
